About David
Hello, and thank you for visiting my site! I am a perspective fisheries biologist and Graduate Student at Mississippi State University. I served in the United States Navy from 2009 to 2015, where I earned an Associates, deployed to Afghanistan, and advanced to HM2(E5). In 2018 I graduated from LSU's Renewable Natural Resources program, where I had the opportunity to work on several projects in the Atchafalaya Basin, coastal plain streams, and floating marshes of Louisiana. I began pursuing a Master's at MSU in the fall of 2018, and my project is focusing on fish habitat improvement in degraded reservoirs. My wife and I intend on raising our children with a love for the outdoors and participation in various natural resource activities. Whether it is hunting and fishing, or hiking, birding, and boating, we feel that educating and encouraging the next generation of stakeholders is crucial. My self described typologies are aesthetic, weak animal rights, ecocentric, and ecologistic.
